Virginia Beach, Va. — Lucy and Ramon W. Breeden, Jr., founder and owner of The Breeden Company—a locally headquartered, vertically integrated real estate organization in business since 1961—have joined with friends and fellow animal welfare advocates to support the Virginia Beach SPCA’s newest initiative, the “Neuter Scooter.”
Committed to giving a voice to animals in need, Mr. and Mrs. Breeden are passionate animal enthusiasts who actively champion initiatives that promote the health, safety, and well-being of pets throughout the community. Their recent contribution reflects a shared dedication to expanding access to essential veterinary services for families across Hampton Roads.
Since 2012, the Virginia Beach SPCA has spayed and neutered more than 30,000 pets and provided thousands of vaccinations through its mobile clinic. The organization’s new Neuter Scooter—a specially designed 34-foot mobile medical unit comparable in size to a large recreational vehicle—is fully equipped to deliver high-quality, low-cost veterinary care directly to underserved areas.
This investment in mobile veterinary services enables the Virginia Beach SPCA to continue its mission of reducing pet overpopulation and improving access to preventative care, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for both animals and the communities they serve.
