Breeden Construction is proud to announce the completion of an affordable housing community in Petersburg, VA, Pin Oaks Estates. The project was completed for the developers, Petersburg Redevelopment & Housing Authority (PRHA); Breeden Construction served as the general contractor.
The $16.8 million project began in September 2021. Development began with the demolition of 92 of the 150 old apartments to make way for new, updated living spaces. Following the demolition, the development included ground-up construction of six (6) buildings, consisting of a total of 98 one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments, as well as a clubhouse with an on-site management office, fitness center, and computer lab.
Apartments are now outfitted with stainless-steel appliances and LVT flooring. The redeveloped apartment community is one of several projects Breeden Construction and PRHA are working on together.
“We are proud to deliver another affordable housing community to the city of Petersburg. We have enjoyed working with the Petersburg Redevelopment and Housing Authority on delivering this revitalized community,” said Breeden Construction President Brian Revere.
With offices in Richmond, Virginia Beach and Charlottesville, Breeden Construction is ranked by Multi-Housing News as one of the largest multifamily developers in the nation.
