Breeden Construction, with offices in Virginia Beach and Richmond, is the general contractor for Stony Run Condominiums, a 153-unit complex located on 15 acres in predominantly rural Hanover County.
Work has begun on this $25 million project, slated for completion by January of 2021. Stony Run Partners, LLC, of Richmond, is the owner, CD Hall Construction of Chesterfield is the site contractor, the architect is Housing Studio of Charlotte, and Resource International of Ashland is the site engineer.
Stony Run Condominiums offers a new homeownership option and price points for the county and appeals to first-time buyers as well as empty nesters. Stony Run is the largest condo development in the area, where multi-family developments are not necessarily the norm. One and two-bedroom floor plans range from 900 to 1,400 square feet, and start at around $230,000 and $340,000, respectively. Community amenities include a pool, hot tub, fire pit, fitness rooms, a dog park and walking trails.
