Breeden Construction is proud to announce the completion of an affordable housing redevelopment project in Portsmouth, VA, Lexington Place. The project was completed for the developers, Pennrose and Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority; Breeden Construction served as the general contractor.
The $12.5 million project began in January 2020. The project was completed prior to the scheduled delivery date. Breeden Construction brought its long-standing development and operational expertise to the redevelopment of Lexington Place Apartments, considered to be an integral piece of the evolving Portsmouth, VA fabric.
Lexington Place is located off Frederick Boulevard. Phase 1 redevelopment included demolition and new construction of 72 residences as well as a new clubhouse and 1.4 acres of green space. The construction project meets EarthCraft and VHDA standards.
