Charlottesville, VA - Breeden Construction is pleased to announce the successful completion of a $13 million multifamily development, South First Street, in Charlottesville, VA. Breeden Construction served as the general contractor for Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority (CRHA) on the brand new affordable community.
Construction involved the ground-up development of three apartment buildings, as well as a new 3,719 SF community resource center that includes a play area, fitness center, party room, catering kitchen and computer center. The three apartment buildings offer 62 new residential multifamily homes, totaling 81,890 SF. Buildings are designed with open breezeways/corridors. The community was delivered to the owners on-time and on budget.
To enhance the community experience, the project includes three distinct green space areas that serve as amenities and recreational spaces.
