The Breeden Company today announced the groundbreaking of Vida on the Lake, a Class A+ multifamily residential community in Midlothian, Virginia. The new development will bring 258 homes to the growing Chesterfield County market, including 240 garden-style apartment homes and 18 carriage-house style residences.
Each residence will feature granite countertops, vinyl tile flooring in living areas, plush carpeting in bedrooms, nickel hardware, high-efficiency plumbing fixtures and in-home washers and dryers. The community's amenity package will include a state-of-the-art fitness center, a resort-style seasonal swimming pool and a bark park for residents and their pets.
"Vida on the Lake represents our continued commitment to developing high-quality communities that enhance the lives of residents while meeting the growing housing needs of Virginia's most desirable markets," said Tim Faulkner, CEO of The Breeden Company. "Midlothian continues to experience strong growth, and we are excited to bring a thoughtfully planned community that combines exceptional living spaces, outstanding amenities and convenient access to everything this vibrant area has to offer."
Breeden Construction, a division of The Breeden Company, will serve as the project's general contractor, overseeing construction and bringing the organization's decades of development and construction expertise to the community.
The groundbreaking marks another milestone in The Breeden Company's long-standing commitment to delivering exceptional multifamily communities throughout Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic region.
