Brenda E. Karp

Brenda Karp, Vice President, Business Development is responsible for creating strategic commercial real estate and multifamily business partnerships and driving new revenue sources for the organization. Brenda works closely with the chief operating officer to create the long-term strategic vision for the company and advances new business development opportunities.

With a distinguished career, spanning more than 25 years in commercial real estate, Brenda’s expertise includes sales, leasing, market development, acquisitions and partnerships. In her previous role as Vice President and Associate Broker of Breeden Realty, the commercial real estate division of The Breeden Company, Brenda specialized in sales and leasing, securing and retaining quality tenants and improving co-tenancy in regional and neighborhood shopping centers. Her career includes positions with Divaris Real Estate, Richfood and Heilig-Meyers Furniture.  

Brenda is actively involved in business and community organizations, currently serving on the CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) Network Foundation Board. She is a past President of CREW Richmond, a member of the VCU Real Estate Circle of Excellence, Greater Richmond Association of Commercial Real Estate (GRACRE) and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Brenda is a Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation supporter and volunteer and has also served on the Board of Directors.
